Do the same minimum order criteria apply to EDI orders?

If you're placing your order through an ordering platform that is EDI compatible with us, this means your order will reach us automatically. However, this needs to meet our minimum order criteria.

If your system is set up to receive them, you'll also receive your invoices and credits to you automatically. Please contact your order management system provider if you have any questions on which functionalities your platform supports via EDI.

Most platforms, for example, Procure Wizard and Acquire, can't differentiate between lead times at the product level. This means that orders must be placed with the correct delivery date:

  • For any 48-hour products included on an order with 24-hour products for delivery the next day, the system will reject the 48-hour product. The 24-hour products will still be processed and received the next delivery day.
  • We recommend you place separate orders for 48-hour and 24-hour products.
  • Any orders placed after our cut-off time of 1 pm will be rejected by our system. You won’t receive a notification that it has been rejected nor will you be invoiced for it.
  • Unfortunately, any instructions left in the comments section of your portal won’t be received.

Please note that any errors made when placing your order means your order will be rejected by our system, and we can no longer make manual adjustments once your order has been placed. This includes meeting our minimum order criteria.

If the product you’re looking for doesn’t exist on your ordering portal, or you have a question about ordering via an EDI system, please get in touch with our Customer Care team.
